VP of Operations Appointed
Verbal Ink, one of the leading providers of transcription services in the industry, announced today that it has appointed Barbara Chung as its new vice president of operations. In this role, Chung will have responsibility for executing company initiatives, developing corporate strategy, and managing day-to-day operations.
“Barbara brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Verbal Ink that will help us build on our tradition of doing great work for our clients at an affordable price,” said JR Wurster, founder and CEO of Verbal Ink. “As our vice president of operations, she will focus on strengthening and expanding the many ways in which we serve our clients.”

Chung comes to Verbal Ink from FIJI Water, where she served as director of the company’s sustainability program. Prior to this position, Barbara led corporate strategy projects for FIJI Water across several business functions. Before joining FIJI Water, Barbara worked in the biotech and high tech industries, most recently as a product manager at Oracle Corporation. Barbara holds an A.B. degree in English from Harvard University and an M.B.A. degree from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
